Boyd Roger Weister's Obituary
Boyd Roger Weister passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 4th with his daughter Pam at his side. Roger was a rare gem of life. You know this if you had the fortunate opportunity to call him a friend. To Roger every day was Christmas and he always said, "I'm the luckiest man alive." After many years driving Tacoma City Transit, his life dream and goals were realized. He became the Assistant Golf Pro at Allenmore Golf Course. He later accepted the position of Golf Professional with Lake Spanaway Golf Course in 1967, fully realizing his dreams. During his career as the Pro at Lake Spanaway he touched the lives of many people. He inspired many new to the game and countless seasoned golfers. Roger earned an amazing 15 Holes-In-One during his lifetime. He retired from Lake Spanaway Golf Course as the Pro in 1982 and enjoyed life like no other. To his many friends, daughter Pam, granddaughter Carri, great grandchildren Mitchel, Nathan and Mercea, he says, "See Ya Pal" as only he could say it! Please join us for a celebration of Roger's life on Wednesday, September 22nd at 3:00pm at Lake Spanaway Golf Course.
