Bonita Jean Thomson's Obituary
Bonita "Bonnie" Jean Thomson passed away peacefully November 18, 2016 at home.
Bonnie was born in Naples, Idaho to William and Marjorie Hanley, one of eight children. Always a fighter, she survived a hunting accident, severe frostbite and many surgeries over the years. Bonnie worked at McChord AFB for 27 years forming many lasting relationships. Nothing stopped Bonnie from living a great life. She loved fishing, playing slot machines and was always a lucky winner! Married to Bill Thomson for 35 years, they had four children. After his passing in 1988, Bonnie prepared for retirement, wanting to spend time with family and friends.
Bonnie is survived by her Brother Jerry Hanley and favorite sister-in-law Karen (Montana), Sister Sandy Jackson (Montana), children Larry Thomson, wife Susan (Montana), Brenda Aranda, husband Al, Cheryl Eklund, husband Gordon. Grandchildren Kisti Marie, Al, Jovita Ann, Matthew, Emily and Jeff, several great and great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her son David, grandchildren Willy, David and Meshell.
Special thanks to Brenda and great-granddaughter Tiana for enabling Bonnie to remain at home until the end and for their compassionate care. Also thanks to hospice for their support.
Bonnie was much loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
