Bonita Kay Nelson's Obituary
A native of Tacoma, Washington, graduated Stadium High School 1964. She completed training to become a Dental Assistant and entered the field for a brief period. Subsequently she worked for the Army-Air Force Commissary Service becoming an Administrative Supervisor until her retirement. A devoted Mother to her son Brian. Following retirement her interests included being active in the church, gardening, helping at the Ruston Senior Center, traveling, watching TV Soaps. She met her husband Clyde Nelson in 1992, they married June 15, 1993. Due to Parkinson's Disease, her final year was spent in a nursing home where she passed away peacefully.
She was preceded in death by both parents, sister Florence (Tacoma, WA), brother Edward (Hermiston, OR). She is survived by her husband Clyde (Tacoma, WA), her son Brian (Seattle, WA) and brother Frank (Albany, OR) several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
