Bonifacio O. Pancho Jr.'s Obituary
Bonifacio Orjalesa Pancho, Jr.
Bonifacio Orjalesa Pancho, Jr. was born January 5, 1934, and quietly passed away on September 5, 2017 at the age of 83 years. In the days prior to his passing many family and friends surrounded him. He was born in Guadalupe, Makati in the province of Rizal, Philippines, and was the oldest of 4 boys born to Juana Orjalesa and Bonifacio Pancho, Sr. "Boni" moved to Manila, Philippines where he met and married Monica Gonza on April 22, 1955. They immigrated to Lakeview, Washington on June 22, 1966 where they raised their 7 children. He was preceded in death by his brother Andy Pancho and his loving wife, Monica Pancho. Bonifacio O. Pancho, Jr. is survived by two bothers, Felix and John Pancho; his seven children: Bonifacio G. Pancho III, Thelma G. McCaskell, Juanita G. Fox, Virginia G. Pancho, Dana G. Wiggs, Raymundo G. Pancho, Peter P. G. Pancho; 21 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Boni was a kind and gentle man who believed in God and miracles. He loved to sing and play the guitar, was quick to laugh at a joke (clean or otherwise), and enjoyed trying his luck at the Lottery. He enjoyed singing Frank Sinatra and Rat Pack songs on the Karaoke, and loved to hear his grandchildren sing. He was a dedicated Seattle Mariners fan, and almost never failed to catch a game when it was on the television. He even figured out (finally) how to use an iPhone; he rarely made calls on it, but was always looking at pictures and videos of his grandchildren. “Papa,” “Kuya,” “Lolo,” is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to send a very special ‘Thank You’ to all of the folks at Fresenius Kidney Care in Gig Harbor, Wa.
