Bobby Rousey's Obituary
Born in Elberton, GA to Lena and Watson Rousey on September 17, 1935. He served in the US Army as a Tank Commander from 1956-1962. He worked for ASARCO as a foreman and Tacoma Public Schools.
Bobby married Ava Ellenwood on July 22, 1960 in Wausen, Ohio and they spent the next 50 years in Tacoma. Bobby leaves behind his wife Ava, daughter Lynne Rousey, Lena Calhoun (Pete), granddaughters Brandi (Bill) and Ashlee, great-grandchildren Dominic, Marcus, Ava, and Jacob, brother Joe Rousey (Elizabeth), sister-in-law Terri Lovejoy, Joal Lorick and family. Bob has many nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 PM at 3730 East G Street, Tacoma, WA. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
