You always called me 'Pat' never Patti or Patricia. You were the only one I ever let get away with that. I couldn't argue your reasoning! Many memories over the last 20 years...the lake, camping, fireworks, family dinners, birthdays, eating fair burgers, and playing bingo! The last two summers were the best! Summer of 2006 at Paradise Resort and Summer of 2007 here at the house and the lake. Thank you for the virtues you instilled in my husband. It has made him a great father and husband. Our thoughts and hugs are out to all of you during the hardness of saying good bye to your dad.
Christian and I learned so much about crabbing from him. When we would see him at a party, C and I always had a really nice, long conversation with him about boating, crabbing (well, he taught us how to). In typing this, C and I actually am so glad we got to see him a lot of times. We had many, many fun converations with him and all of what he was doing and enjoying his life. His face would light up (like ours would) when we would all get to hear about boating stories, and fishing stories. He was a very, very nice man. I am glad we have the memories we do at the gatherings we got to see him at.
Please note: we are very sorry not to be able to come to Wa so all of you can know just how much we respected him. We did and do - just a little bit hard right now from california and the flu bug we both have -
May Wednesday move fast for you and bring some smiles to all of your family when you remember the good times.
