Dear Stoner's:
Some of the fondest memories I have of childhood involve "Mr. Stoner". I remember how fun it was driving up to Clear Lake in the back of the Cadillac with him at the wheel, hanging out with Shawn at his house when he was getting maybe 3 hours of sleep a day and being amazed that he was still always smiling and joking in b/w his amazing micro naps, the way he used to tussle my hair and treat me like I had something interesting to say even when I was a babbling 5 year old and the list could go on and on. In fact, I think the only time I ever saw him in a bad mood was when Jigs would come over and pee on his tires :-) As a little boy up to last Spring when I would be at my Dad's, Bill was always someone I got excited to see. There are very few people in my life who I think of more warmly and with higher regard. I consider having known him a great blessing. Laura, Shawn, San and Kerry: I'm praying for you. I know you must miss him a ton. I wish I could have been there with you to see him off.
Love, John##imported-begin##John Breul##imported-end##
It's been many years since iv'e seen Bill, but I still remember the good times when I was the manager of the JCPenney store in downtown Puyallup. Bill was always a big promoter for the downtown area.He was everybodys friend and I still remember all he did for me and my family. I know he will be sorely missed by everybody that knew him. Laura, God bless you and your family and know that Bill will find things to keep him busy in Heaven.
Sincerely

Stories about the Stoner's are part of what I tell my children about my childhood...Shawn provided endless anecdotes, and the catnaps that Mr. Stoner lived on always amazed me. I can still picture him running by our house. I am sorry to hear that he is gone. I know he will be missed. This has been a rough year for 11th Avenue!
Fondly, Sandra (Breul) Fisher##imported-begin##Sandra Fisher##imported-end##

Laura,we will forever remember Bill for his kind words and his great smile. He was always fun, friendly and willing to offer encouragement or thoughtful advice. Over the years, it was great to see Bill at the Fair as well as many of the U.W. Husky football games, but we really appreciated his support of our Daffodil Festival events and projects. He will always be remembered.##imported-begin##Rob & Connie Wekell##imported-end##
