Beverly Vergowe's Obituary
Beverly Jean (Armstrong) Vergowe, born March 16th, 1925, passed away on July 24th, 2013 with her daughters by her side. She grew up in Lakewood, WA and attended Clover Park Schools. She studied at the University of Washington and was affiliated with Chi Omega Sorority.
She worked as Chief of Patient Control for years at the VA Hospital American Lake as well as Secretary to the Superintendent of Clover Park Schools.
Beverly married E. Coye Vergowe in 1949 and they lived in Gig Harbor, WA on Cherry Cove, where they enjoyed the beach and raising their family. They were happily married for 37 years.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Coye and her sister Patricia Fenter of Tacoma WA.
She is survived by her brother Robert Armstrong of Juneau, AL, her daughters Linda Stromberg of Tacoma, WA and Susan Vergowe of Port Orchard, WA as well as her two grandson's Jason Stromberg and Zachary Vergowe Jones.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the American Wildlife Federation.
