Beverly Jane Trummert's Obituary
Beverly Jane Trummert went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Beverly was born in Tacoma on June 20, 1923 to Hugh and May (Doeg) Smith. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1941. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Dwaine "Skeet" Wesley Trummert in 1974 and her sister Mavis Elizabeth Smith Swift in 2003. A member of Mount Tahoma Baptist Church, she was a longtime treasurer of the Ladies Activity Group. She and Skeet were charter members (#19) of the Tacoma Webfooters Jeep Club. At the age of 71 she retired from See's Candies, but her main role in life was always that of wife and mother. She is survived by four children, Dwaine Wesley Trummert, Jr. of Puyallup, Janis Eileen Trummert Young (Dennis) of Olympia, Diane Elizabeth Trummert D'Andrea (David) of Tacoma and Brent Alvin Trummert of Tacoma; one sister, Shirley Hazen of Tacoma; two brothers, Hugh L. Smith (Joan) of Oregon and Phillip Smith (Esther) of University Place; and one brother-in-law, Eldon "Pete" Trummert of Olympia; eleven grandchildren, Dwaine Wesley Trummert, III (Deanne) of University Place, Rachel Lorraine Trummert (James Barnett) of Puyallup, Justin Jon Legarsky (Janice) of Columbia, MO, Richard Christopher Young of Olympia, Michael Frederick Young of Boyds, Shannon Rene D'Andrea Ryan (Jason) of University Place, Bethany Jane D'Andrea Boustedt (Chris) of University Place, David Alan D'Andrea, Jr. of Tacoma, Jacob Wesley D'Andrea of Tacoma, Brent Dwaine Trummert (Wendi) of Puyallup, Kyle Sonny Trummert of Tacoma; ten great-grandchildren, Dana May Trummert of University Place, Carson Quinten Barnett of Puyallup, Elizabeth Lynn Legarsky and Alexander Scott Lagarsky of Columbia, MO, Michael Jonathon Young of Boyds, Tabitha Anne Ryan of University Place, twins Christopher Allen and Christian Leigh Boustedt of University Place, Kailey Noel Trummert and Alexis Madison Trummert of Puyallup, and many nephews and nieces. A memorial service and reception will be held at Mt. Tahoma Baptist Church at 5220 74th St. W., Lakewood on Sat., Mar. 7, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Mount Tahoma Baptist Church.
