Beverly Gale Welch's Obituary
Beverley Gail Welch, born on May 8, 1934, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2009 with her family at her side.
Beverley was born to Fred and Berniece Russell in Ontario Oregon. She grew up on a farm in Vail where she had her own jersey cow as a pet. She has had a lifelong love affair with animals and has always had pets by her side. Her passion was her pugs in which she proudly raised and showed.
Beverley was a woman who was filled with a lot of love, laughter and kindness but most of all she was a lady with amazing strength and determination who lived her life to the fullest extent possible.
Beverley is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clifford Welch; son, David Welch (wife Denise); brother, Graydon Russell (Janice); sister, Shirley Caron (Bill); 6 grandchildren; Jennifer and Christopher Welch, Kenney Ferguson, Rachel Hines (Thomas), Rebecca and Grey Chase, and 9 great grandchildren. Beverley was also blessed with a lifelong best friend of 60 years, Shirley Solomon.
There are no words to describe how much our loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend will be missed. We have all been blessed by having Beverley, whom touched our lives in so many ways. We love her and will miss her very much.
Memorial services will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW Lakewood WA at 2:00PM in the Valley Chapel. Following the service a reception will be held in the Oak Room, Mountain View Celebration of Life Center. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home (253) 584-0252.
