Beverly A. Foster's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Beverly A. Foster. She was born in Tacoma, WA on March 20, 1933 and passed away at the age of 83 on June 20, 2016.
Beverly was always interested in her education as well as educating others. One of her first jobs was at McChord Air Force Base teaching English to active duty service personnel. She later became a licensed Beautician but never practiced. Beverly later attained jobs at Bates Vocational School and The Urban League as an Office Occupations Instructor. After retirement, she and her husband enjoyed spending time with friends at the Ruston Senior Center. Throughout her life she enjoyed travel, cooking and sewing.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 64 years, John A. Foster, and son Dr. David J.G. Foster his wife, Sue N. Foster. She is preceded in death by her daughter Deborah J. Foster.
