Hello, my name is Rebecca and you don't know me but I saw that you recently lost a loved one and a wanted to offer my sincere condolences.
It's never easy losing those we love I know that first hand too.
But what has helped me get through these most difficult times is the comport I find in the scriptures. I would like to share a couple of them with you. The first one is found at John 5:28,29. It reads, "Do not marvel at this, the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come on out." This is telling us that we will be reunited with our loved ones, what a wonderful time that will be. I look forward to that so much. The other scripture is Revelation 21:4, which states, "And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." Can you imagine a time when we wont have to worry about losing our loved ones in death or even dying ourselves. Plus it mentions no more pain, this could be emotional or physical pain. Wont that be a wonderful time? Seems hard to imagine but it's a promise from our Creator and this is something that will happen in the near future. I hope you found these scriptures encouraging like I do. I read them over and over especially the one found in Revelation.
I hope you are surrounded by friends and family that can be of support to you.
Once again I'm so sorry for your loss.
With sympathy
