Betty Lee Terp's Obituary
Betty was born January 13, 1925 in Fairbury, Nebraska and passed away peacefully in Puyallup, Washington on August 22, 2015 at age 90, surrounded by her family. Her husband Robert preceded her in death in 1999.
She is survived by sisters Bonnie Taylor (Paul) and Marge Quinlan, son Dennis (Pattie), daughter LoRee Snowden (Ron), four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She most enjoyed her holiday family gatherings especially with the grandchildren. She was a long-time member of the Comforters Quilt Guild of Puyallup and hand-quilted many creative and beautiful quilts. For many years Betty volunteered at the SE Tacoma Fish Food Bank.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 28th, 3:00 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4519 112th St. E. Tacoma. A charity dear to her heart was “Backpacks 4 Kids”. For more information or to make donations go to OSLC.com. For online condolences go to mountainviewtacoma.com.
