“Our Loving Mother”
Our loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother Betty Jeanne Suden, age 85 of Lakewood, passed away August 19, 2015 from causes incident to age and illness with her family by her side. She was born April 28, 1930 in Elkton, VA to Estelle & George Russell Rogers. She was the youngest of nine children. She married Edward John Suden who preceded her in death in 2005. Together they raised three children. Betty was a compassionate, caring person and will be greatly missed. She never saw a flower that she did not love. She loved trying new foods and reading. Her pleasures in life were time spent with family and friends. She was a fun loving lady who loved animals, especially “baby girl” at present. She was a good wife, a wonderful mother and a devoted sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. Betty is survived by her children, Shawnee Dow, Sheila Gallegos and Edward Lord Archer. She had five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and eight siblings.
A viewing will be held at 2p Saturday, August 22, 2015 prior to the Graveside Service at 3:30p in the Mt. View Funeral Home and Memorial Park. “Her leaving has created a void that can only be filled by sharing her love with one another”.
