Betty Schweitzer
Betty passed away on July 12, 2011 just 3 months after the loss of her husband Arnold. She was born in Illinois and was one of 7 sisters who she called "The Seven Wonders of the World." She married Arnold in 1946 and they began a 65 year journey. Betty is survived by her daughter Sharon (Ken) Pearson; grandchildren Stephanie Schweitzer, Benjamin (Amyee) Pearson, Heather (Greg) Donohoue, Allison (Joshua) Judge and Thomas (Meghan) Pearson. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren: Sophia, Isaac, Audrey and Beau Pearson; Chris, Steven, Kara and Jovie Donohoue and was anticipating the birth of Allison & Josh's first baby due in November. She was preceded in death by her son Myron and her husband Arnold. She was a blessing to many and will be greatly missed. There will be a memorial service at Praise Covenant Church, 3501 S. Orchard St., Tacoma 98466 on Saturday, July 16th at 2 PM. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
