Betty Julich's Obituary
Betty J. Julich
September 5, 1920 -" December, 7, 2012
Betty Julich passed away peacefully with family at her side on December 7th, 2012.
Betty had lived in the Lakewood area since 1959 with her late husband, Arnold C. Julich, where they retired after he served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. They were married for 61 wonderful years before Arnie's death in 2004. Betty and Arnie met in Iowa, where they were both born and raised.
Betty will be missed every day by her six children and their families. She is survived by Arnie and his wife, Tanya, Nick, Jim, Tom and his wife, Mary, Terry and his wife, Lee, and Pam and her husband, Mike, as well as 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Betty was a fun-loving lady who enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, fishing, hunting, and the ocean and all of its bounty. She also loved tending to her beautiful rose garden.
Betty's greatest joy, however, was spending time with her beloved husband and children. She was a strong, passionate wife and mother, and very devoted to her family. Betty was both caring and gracious in her dealings with others, and her kindness only grew as the years progressed. Her passing will leave a huge hole in our hearts and our lives. But her legacy of love, and our wonderful memories of times shared with Mom will remind us every day of her love, guidance, and joy of life.
A viewing will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, December 13 from 2-7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 10508 112th St. SW, Lakewood, WA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 14.
