Betty J. Hillman's Obituary
With profound sadness, we share that Betty J. Hillman, 94, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband Stan Hillman. Born in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, Betty built a full and meaningful life rooted in family, hard work, and generosity. She retired from Weyerhaeuser after many dedicated years of service.
Betty is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Patricia Wilson, and her husband, Jeff; her granddaughter, Jessica; and her sister, Deanna Kalinoski. Family was the center of Betty’s world, and she especially cherished the time she spent with Jessica. She spent many hours volunteering at Jessica’s school, where students and teachers affectionately knew her as Grandma Betty.
A lover of the outdoors, Betty found joy in tending to her garden, nurturing flowers and herbs. She was also an avid baker—famous for her pies—and enjoyed working with her sister on quilt blocks, always keeping her hands and heart busy.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to South County Cats.
