Bette C. Snow's Obituary
Bette Claire Snow We love you to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond, forever and ever. Bette was born January 22, 1932 in Grand Forks, ND and passed from this life surrounded by family and friends on April 10, 2008 in Gig Harbor, WA. Bette was raised in North Dakota and moved to Tacoma in 1956 to be with her brother while he was convalescing; here she met her husband Glen. They were married in 1961 and were together until his death just weeks short of their 30th wedding anniversary. Bette returned to the work force in 1975 becoming a keypunch operator and office manager at Puget Sound Log Scaling and Grading Bureau. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Mom will be remembered always by those around her as a caring, nonjudgmental and generous person. Her unconditional love was evident at all times. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen, her brother Pete, sister Patsy and nephew Mike. She is survived by her children Kerri (Warren) Morey and Mark (Dena) Snow and grandkids Jenna, Tim, Zack (Elisse), Jack and Brett Morey; Trevor and Kevin Snow. Her new great granddaughter Riley Morey waiting to make her appearance, her sister Marge Martin, niece Laurie (Abraham) Nims and family, nephews Tim (Robin) Martin and family and Dan (Carla) Valentine along with her "special daughters" Lynn, Alice and Vicki plus a host of extended family and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Manor Care of Gig Harbor for your compassionate care of Bette. Nanny our love for you is boundless rest in peace until we meet again. Services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery Aspen Chapel, Saturday, April 19 at 11 AM. A gathering will follow at the home of her son. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or The American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home 253-584-0252.
