Beth V. Johnson's Obituary
Beth V. Johnson Was born in Seattle, WA Nov. 22, 1957, the second of eight children of the late Marilyn L. Lindholm and Leroy D. Mason. She passed gracefully and peacefully with family by her side on March 24, 2014 in her Tacoma home. Beth grew up in Tacoma, graduating from Lincoln High in 1976. Shortly thereafter, she joined the U.S. Air Force where she served 13 years. Her Air Force career took her to So. Dakota, Germany and back home to Yelm WA. After discharging from the service, she worked in the deli at Mega Foods until they closed and then for the U.S. Postal Service. Beth was preceded in death by her loving companion Michael Deutsch. Beth is survived by siblings Allan Mason (Barbara Happee), Cara Mejia, Duane Mason (Carla Rasmussen), Erin (Jorg) Esseln, Faye (Jimmy) Williams, Galan (Brandy) Mason and Heidy Mason. Though not having children of her own, she was adored Aunt Beth to Tamara, Amanda, Lindzie (Steve), Samuel, Alec, Becca, Mackinzie, Brandon, Bobby, Katie and Great Aunt Beth to eight others. Also mourning her passing are dear friends Donna Lee, Jenny Pessemier, and Marge Neal. Private Graveside services will be held on Friday March 28th at 1:30. A celebration of her life for all who loved her will be held at C.I Shenanigans in Tacoma on Friday March 28th from 3:30-6:30.
