Mrs. Bessie Irene Kirschbaum's Obituary
Bessie was born on July 7,1927 in Canon City, CO to James and Daisy (Betts) Rathbun. She was the second of two children. The family relocated to Tacoma in 1928 shortly after Bessie was born.
She attended school here in Tacoma and completed the 10th grade when WWII erupted. She went to work for ABC Biscuit Company where she worked her up to the supervisors position, she retired after 20 years. After retirement she was involved with the local food bank and the Puyallup fair.
Later she married Edward Kirschbaum.
She had lots of special friends. Her most important event of her life was the birth of her son Robert.
Bessie enjoyed bowling, casinos, and dancing. She especially loved country music.
Bessie will be missed by all those that she touched.
