Grandma, thank you for being so wonderful to all of us Grandkids. Whenever I see a vinyl floral embossed tablecloth I will think of you...whenever I smell that "fresh laundry" smell I will think of you...whenever I hear "The Hokie Pokie" I'll think of you....whenever I taste your famous tomato soup I will think of you...and when I think of you, I will smile and say... Bertie,
You were a great addition into my life. You always put a smile on my face. That tough extior but I know you were just a teddy bear inside. You are such a strong woman and I truyly admire that. You will always be remembered in my heart as Grandma Bertie. I was blessed with knowing you.
