Bert Hiddleson Hughes died March 9, 2006 in Tacoma, Washington. He was born September 7, 1918 in Seymour, Iowa to Shadrach Percival (Percy) Hughes, an English immigrant coal miner, and Lucy Esther Thomas. In 1936 Bert graduated fr Read Obituary
Bert has found his way home to his beloved Betty and Our Lord. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to share time with them both. Bert and Betty gave me the gift of knowledge and experience from which I have truly benefitted. It is sad for us to no longer have them with us on Earth, yet they are together again with God and their legacy lives on with all of us.

My sympathy goes out to you for your loss. I am so glad that I was able to meet Bert. He was so cute in his Seahawk gear and so excited about his hobbies. It was fun to share that with him. Take comfort in knowing that you have so many friends praying and thinking about you.
