Bennie Morris Stockman's Obituary
Bennie Morris Stockman, 75, of Lakewood passed away peacefully October 20, 2015. He was born December 18, 1939 in Pine Hill, Alabama to Effie and Henry Selton Stockman. Bennie graduated from Thomaston High School in Alabama, where he was active in all school sports. He worked through two owners and in the early 70's bought Bennies Mobil Service in Lakewood, eventually selling it in 1996. Retirement was not a word he knew, so he then worked for the state of Washington at Western State Hospital until 2010.
Bennie is survived by his wife, Sheila, of 54 years, son Mark, and daughters Tonya and Natasha. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters Henry S., Juliette, Winston, Henry L, Bessie, Joseph, James, Janie, Linda, and David.
A Memorial Service will be held at the LDS Church, 10018 Farwest Drive SW, Lakewood, Washington at 11:00am on October 31, 2015.
