Benjamin Nacis' Obituary
Benjamin Nacis, 83, of Tacoma, Washington passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at Madigan Hospital on May 8, 2010. He was born May 18, 1926 in the Philippines. He moved to Hawaii as a child and lived there until he joined the armed forces. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War. He met his wife Hedy of 49 years in Germany. They moved to Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Hedy; 3 children, Sonia, Ron and Sylvia; 5 grandchildren, Chris, Stephen, Paige, Brianne and Conner; and 1 great-grandchild, Dalton.
Ben will be remembered as a devoted husband and loving father. He was someone you could always turn to when you needed anything. He was our Mr. Fix-it. He loved working on the garden and had a green thumb. He was active in the senior center.
A celebration of his life will be held on May 17, 2010 at 1:00PM in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home followed by a reception in the Celebration of Life Building.
He will be deeply missed by all the lives he touched.
