Benjamin G. Mckinney's Obituary
Benjamin Gene McKinney "Ben" of Tacoma, Washington passed away April 20, 2025 at the age of 43. Born on January 2, 1982 in Ada, Oklahoma to Larry Gene McKinney and Regina (Winship) McKinney, He was a devoted husband to Vincentia "Anna" (Garlarza) McKinney and a loving and caring father to Isaac, Benjamin "Caleb", and Tawny McKinney also a father-figure to his to nephews, Emmett Galarza and Lucas Williams.
Ben was the youngest of four children and valued spending time with his family. He was a hard-worker and operated various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting which he enjoyed doing for 20+ years to support his family. Though quiet and reserved, Ben had a unique sense of humor he liked watching T.V., movies, stand-up comedy, and youtube.
Ben was creative, loved to draw, write poetry, and bead, He was athletic and enjoyed various sports such as basketball, golf, baseball, and volleyball. Golf was Ben's favorite sport which he can challenge himself to improve his skills on the course and a chance to spend quality time with his father Larry and son Caleb.
Ben is preceded in death by his two brothers Blaine and Joel McKinney, Grandparents-Eddie McKinney and Nora Colbert McKinney and Grandparents-Robert Winship and Stella Crosby.
Ben is survived by his wife of 22 years, Anna McKinney and their three children: Isaac, Benjamin Caleb, and Tawny; his parents, Larry and Regina McKinney, one sister Natosha Sanesi and husband Matteo of Hellertown, Pennsylvania. Auntie, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and many friends. Ben will be forever missed by family and friends.
