Beatrice J. Neslund's Obituary
Beatrice was born in the town of Harmony, Minnesota, and moved with her family at a young age to Tacoma, WA.Beatrice worked outside the home, including Days Tailoring, Pacific Match Co., Mt. Rainier Ordinance at Fort Lewis and retiring from Boeing Company in 1974.Beatrice and husband Holger traveled during their retirement years to Hawaii, Sweden and Norway, they also cruised on the Caribbean, Alaska, she was very active, and she loved Reno, also the game of Pinochle. She was active in the Swedish Lodge of Vasa and served her lodge as officer, and was a member of United Lutheran Church. She touched many lives in her 96 years.She was preceded in death by husband Holger in 1981, and son Wayne in 1960.She is cherished and deeply missed by sister Gladys Sandback, son Ronald Neslund, daughter Genevieve Cummings, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.There will be a graveside farewell for family only. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4th, 2006 at United Lutheran Church, 76th and Sheridan, Tacoma, WA.
