Beate Cavish's Obituary
Beate Cavish, 67, of Gig Harbor, passed away surrounded by family on March 6, 2022 from an extended illness. She was born May 23, 1954 in Cologne, Germany.
Beate worked for many years at Johnny’s at Fife and was a favorite among her customers. One particular customer turned out to be the love of her life. Carl and Beate married after a short engagement and would celebrate their 22nd anniversary on April 1.
Beate was a loving mother and grandmother. As a single mom, she worked hard to make ends meet, but she always made sure her girls always had what they needed. As the only child, she took care of her mother until she passed in 2019. Family was the most important to her, and she enjoyed being surrounded by them.
While her family was small, she widened her circle with the people she met. She was the life of the party wherever she went and was always interested in other people. She treasured her close friends and made them her family.
Beate was preceded in death by her mother, Albertine Pauley. She is survived by her loving husband, Carl. Her daughters, Tina Martin (Nick), and Kylene Robertson (Randy). Grandchildren, Nicholas and Benjamin Martin, and Elle and Kamron Robertson. Her step-children, Tom, Tim, Ken and Tamara Cavish, their spouses and numerous grandchildren.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 12:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Valley Chapel. A reception to follow at Burs.
