Barbara Williams' Obituary
Barbara Williams was born in Omak, Washington on June 29, 1928. She later moved to and lived her life in Tacoma. She died on September 10, 2010. She was the loved and respected wife of Keith, mother of Janis VanDeMark (Doug) and Leslee Hoober (Harley). The joys of her life were her grandchildren David Marx (Kristen), Jennifer McLean (Ron), and especially great-grandchildren Aries McLean, Ayden and Nolan Marx. Following her employment at the News Tribune in the 1950's, Barbara began a 32-year career with Pacific First Federal in 1959, retiring in 1991 as Assistant Vice President. She enjoyed getting together with the "Old Timers" group from PFF. After retiring she did volunteer work, enjoyed RVing across the country with Keith and caring for her great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Redeemer on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Donations to Redeemer Lutheran, 1001 Princeton, Fircrest,EWA 98466.
