Barbara Jean Welch passed away peacefully with her family beside her on the morning of February 23, 2024, at Village Senior Living Center in Fircrest/Tacoma after a courageous battle with Alzheimer/Dementia. She was 83 years old. Read Obituary
So sorry to hear about Barbara’s passing. I knew Barb when she had the Art Haven and we got to be good friends. My aunt from Oregon would give art classes there which drew lots of students young & old. Lost touch with Barb after she left Fairbanks but never forgot her. She was such a sweet lady. To all her children and family I am so sorry for your loss.
I helped take care of Barbara. We spent many days at the Enumclaw senior center having lunch & spending time with all the people we met there. Attended activities like bingo & memory class. She told me several stories about living in Alaska. She loved my pictures of my dollhouse. ❤️
