Barbara S. Williams' Obituary
Barbara Scott Williams was born in Ellijay, GA on December 11, 1922 and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Jan. 31, 2004 in Tacoma, WA. She lived a life devoted to her children, grandchildren, and to her husband, Fonzo, who preceded her in death in 2001.As an Air Force family, the Williams lived in many states and finally Tacoma since 1976. Her spirit (famously feisty) and her loving ways (quiet and thoughtful) will be remembered always. All those who knew and loved her will miss her southernly lilting voice, her sweetly forthright humor, her humble gratitude for any kindness, and the many amusing tales of her life and times.May you rest peacefully in heaven; you will always be in our hearts. Survivors include her three sons: Scott (Donna), Randy and Barney (Debra); grandchildren: Jeff, Andy, Randy, Julie, Quinn, and Xander; and great granddaughter, Aleksiya.Visitation will be on Thurs., Feb. 5, 2004 from 11am to 9pm at Mt. View Funeral Home. Burial services will be held 10am, Fri., Feb. 6, 2004, at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
