Auntie Barb was a special woman, a woman of faith! She was a positive influence in my life through thick and thin. She will be greatly missed! She is a angel to me and I will be waiting for her little signs to direct me and show me she's watching!

I have very fond memories of working with Barbara when I was brand new to the work force. She was a woman of grace, and humor and patience. When I was expecting my first child Barbara gave me a wonderful note about cherishing being a mom. I kept that card - its message was a blessing to me. I too had the privilege of working with BJ at Raleigh, Mann & Powell for a number of years. She was an awesome piano player and loved to entertain people with her music. A devoted Christian lady. Books were her form of entertainment to herself. It's sad to know that Barbara and the love of her life, her son David have left this world, but I am sure they are reunited once again. Barbara was a very special, kind and loving lady. She was a friend of our late Mother's and kept in touch with us. She was a wonderful Mother and friend and will be missed. She was a very positive and loving lady who brightened the day of everyone she came in contact with. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Had the privilege of working with Barbara (BJ) for a number of years. Also enjoyed her piano playing at the church we attended. Barbara was always up and positive with life.
