Barbara Lee Patten's Obituary
Barbara L. Patten, age 76, born June 25, 1941 to the late Donald Patten and Elaine McGregor in Glendale, California. She entered into the arms of Jesus on November 18, 2017 in Tacoma, Washington surrounded by her children Michael Tallman, Michele Cross, Mellanie Tallman, Melinda Brauderick and Anthony Fortin. She is also survived by children Desa Triplett, Dawn Bradford, and Christopher Fortin, preceded in death by Denny Brian Fortin, whom she loved dearly. Survived by her siblings Beverly Broomhead and Leland Patten, reunited with her twin sister and “womb” mate, Bonnie Boone. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Barbara showed unconditional love to anyone that entered her home and considered them as family. Until her death she remained sharp and quick witted - her wit was truly unparalleled. For now we will treasure the memories we have: her contagious laughter and song that warms your heart, her love of reading, watching NASCAR, PGA, Football and her Seattle Mariners, her innate green thumb and beautiful gardens, as well as her creativity and the appreciation she had for the arts. But what a glorious reunion it will be when we join her in a Heavenly song for eternity.
Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Tahoma Baptist Church, 5220 74th St. West, Lakewood, WA 98499.
