Barbara Alice Jussila's Obituary
Barbara Alice Jussila, nee McHugh was born July 17, 1937 Tacoma, Washington. She was the youngest daughter of John E. McHugh and Margaret McHugh, nee Hogan of Enumclaw, Washington. She married Robert (Bob) Jussila of Buckley, Washington September 19, 1968. Barbara passed away peaceful January 31, 2020 in Lakewood, Washington.
During Barbara’s career she was a secretary at Mutual of Enumclaw where she met her husband, Bob. She also worked as a merchandise representative for several companies in the region. She worked 8 years with the Alliance Against Domestic Violence where she was the Panel Coordinator. Barbara enjoyed cooking, winning blue ribbons for her pies at the Southwest Washington Fair. She also enjoyed traveling the West with her husband Bob and more recently traveling to Ireland to visit relatives.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Bob (1980), her parents, three brothers: John, James and Joseph and her sister Margaret. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, great and 2x great nieces and nephews; along with several cousins.
The family will have a committal service.
Internment will be at the Sumner Cemetery where she will be buried next to her husband, Robert Jussila.
