Barbara "Queen Jean" Thornton 10-17-40 to 04-27-2011 Barbara "Queen Jean" Thornton went to be home with our heavenly Father on April 27, 2011. Mother to Vicky Thornton, Angela Thornton-Gainey, and Andrea Thornton-Reed. Queen Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, auntie and friend. She will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Service and viewing will be held at Mt. View from 11am - 1pm, on Monday, May 2, 2011. Reception to follow at Edwards Temple on 21st and MLK.
