How do you put into words fifty years of memories?! Barbara has been apart of my life, for most of my life. There have been people, churches, conferences, church camps, Vacation Bible Schools, births, deaths, dinners, trips, tears, laughter, joys and disappointments shared together. In someway she was there: praying, comforting, sharing, counseling, encouraging - all through hugs, phone calls, visits, and cards. Her yearly Christmas letter was the start of the season for us.
The thing I admire the most about Barbara was she lived what she believed. She loved! She loved God, her husband, her kids, her grandkids, her church, the people in those churches, and kids. She loved telling kids about how Jesus loved them. Then she showed what love looks like in action.
Barbara’s influence in my life, and the lives of my kids, changed us. She challenged us, and followed up with us. Her touch on our lives was significant!
