I am so saddened by hearing of Barb's passing. I met Barb when she first came to Intel, we worked together many years, shared stories, coffee and breakfasts, our love of books! Barb and I worked at Intel together. She would talk about her kids and her goals in life. One day she told me she was battling breast cancer. I was stunned. Later that year I was diagnosed with Breast cancer. I found support and strength in Barb. She was someone I could talk to that truly understood. My heart broke when I heard she lost her fight. I've had the pleasure of working with Barb for the past couple of years. Barb was a very stoic individual whom rarely complained, even to the point that no one knew the pain that she was in. Knowing Barb, she didn't let on to her illness because she wouldn't want anyone to feel sorry for her or expect less from her at work. I know I couldn't have been as resilient as she was in those circumstances. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you all and especially her children.
