When we started going to Moore reunions, we really enjoyed the shenanigans of the family, especially the skits provided by the sisters. The other sisters, including my Grandmother Blanche, seemed to be following the youngest of the sisters, Barbara. I spent every Thursday at 11:00 with Barbara for the past 24 years dressing her hair, sharing observations,listening to her sage advice, discussing everything from politics and religion to raising children and living life well. She was my favorite person in the whole wide world. She was so graceful and good. I will miss her laughter and friendship. I was always admiring her beautiful hands and I thought often how lucky Marie was to inherit their beauty.
