Ba Thu Huynh's Obituary
Ba Huynh, a remarkable individual aged 89 from University Place, Washington, peacefully passed away on February 11, 2024. Born on October 2nd, 1934, in Rach Gia, Vietnam, his remarkable journey included serving as a lieutenant in the South Vietnamese Army Corps of Engineers. Following his commendable service, he contributed to the U.S. Agency for International Development until 1975, after which he embarked on a new chapter in the United States. He continued to make valuable contributions to civil engineering until he retired in 2000.
Ba is survived by his loving wife, Phung Phan, of 64 years. He is survived by his sons, Tuyen Huynh and Tien Huynh, his daughter Khanh Tran, and his son-in-law Hoa Tran. He is survived by his grandchildren, Paul Huynh, Andy Huynh, Jonathan Tran, Justin Tran, Jordan Tran and his wife Xuan, and Jamie Tran.
A ceremony to celebrate Ba’s life will be held at 10:00 AM at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA.
Ba Huynh will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
