Avalee B. Proper's Obituary
Avalee went home to be with the Lord on December 4th. She was born Aug. 18th1925 in Knox County, Ohio, the 12th child of Frank and Mattie Bradrick. She married Paul Proper of Mt. Vernon, Ohio in May of 1946. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Sgt/Major Paul Proper and five children: Craig, Barbara Gail, Michael, Jeffery and Pamela, 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Paul and Avalee moved to Lakewood in 1964. Avalee worked at the Post Exchange and later was a department manager at Ernst Hardware. Paul and Avalee were active with the local Shrine club. A memorial honoring her life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on Dec. 30th She will be greatly missed by all!
