Austin David Mooers Jr.'s Obituary
Austin David Mooers, Jr was born on August 29, 1927 in St. Cloud, MN and died peacefully in his sleep on March 30, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Beverly and his children David Mooers (Tami), Karla Mooers, and Steven Mooers (Barbara) and his three grandchildren, Kelsey, Nicolas and McKenna Mooers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Alda Mooers and his sisters, Aurelle and Leneve.
Austin was an avid traveler; he and his wife recently completed their 40th cruise!
No one loved their family more than Austin! When he wasn't travelling or attending an event for one of his children or grandchildren he was regaling those around him with tales of their adventures and accomplishments!
Viewing will be on April 10th at Mountain View Memorial Park from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11th at Central Lutheran Church in Tacoma, WA at 12:00 PM. Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM at Mountain View Memorial Park.
