Auria Esther Caraballo's Obituary
Auria Esther Caraballo was born on June 9, 1942 to Apolonio and Juanita Santiago. She was the youngest of six children.
After a long, hard, courageous fight with her illness the Lord called her home and ended her pain suddenly in the early hours of October 24, 2019.
Forever the loving, faithful, and attentive wife, she was also a loving, caring, attentive, and doting mother and grandmother who will forever be missed and adored. An honorable, loving and empathetic woman with strong convictions and a deep love of God and Jesus Christ, she enjoyed dancing, singing, gardening, sewing, reading novellas, word search puzzles, cooking , Spanish soap operas, and taking care of her family. She was a very proud and honest woman who never showed weakness and always stood up for her family. She always put her daughters’ needs before her own. Many times she feared we would be missing out and she would consequently hold back to ensure that we did not have to do without. In her final hours she still was more concerned for us than for herself.
Our beautiful Mother was preceded in death by her parents Apolonio and Juanita Santiago, sister Aracelia Rivera, brothers, Miguel Pietri, Rafael Cedeno, and Ernesto Santiago. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Luis Antonio Caraballo, daughters Nancy Caraballo, Juanita Velazques, grandchildren Luis Angel Caraballo, Auria Lisette Rivera, Melanie Sue Rivera, and great-granddaughter Annabella Robertson, sister Rosa Julia Orengo along with a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Her loss leaves our hearts heavy with grief but she has been welcomed to her new home by those who have preceded her.
Rest in peace Mami, your memory will live through us, we will hold you close to our hearts until we are together again…
John 13:34
