Audrey Thompson's Obituary
Audrey V. Thompson
1920 - 2011
Audrey peacefully went to be with Jesus on June 11, 2011 with family at her side. She was born on Aug. 24, 1920 in Craigmyle, Alberta, Canada. She moved with her family to Puyallup and graduated from Puyallup High School in 1939. She attended Knapp's Business College and worked as a public stenographer before going to work for the City of Tacoma until she retired in 1982. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, St. Ann's Mothers Club, Philomathea Mothers Club, and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 35 years. Most of all, Audrey was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who enjoyed family gatherings, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dusty, of 68 years and great-grandson Jacob Campbell. She is survived by her son Norris and daughter Corinne (Tim) Butler. She will also be dearly missed by her 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the Tacoma Lutheran Home for all their care and support. There will be a Funeral Mass on June 27, 2011 at 11:00 at St. Charles Borromeo Church with a reception to follow in the hall.
Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
