Audrey (Pardue) Burns' Obituary
A lifetime Tacoma resident of 84 years died July 6, 2007 after a long battle with Alzheimer,'s. Early in Audrey,'s life, a classy taste in style led her to a career in modeling. For 30 years, Audrey and husband operated the family business, Burns Auto Service. Besides being an avid bowler, Audrey found the time to be junior coach at Pacific Lanes from 1968 through the 1970,'s and Secretary of the Striker League for 20 years. Preceded in death by her husband Robert Burns, Sr. of 54 years and her son Robert Burns, Jr. Survived by her daughter Robin (Donald) Tonnessen, granddaughters Laura and Sierra Tonnessen, grandsons Josh and Justin Burns, and brother Chester Pardue. Audrey will be sorely missed by family and loved ones.
