Audrey L. Day's Obituary
Audrey peacefully passed away in the company of family on Oct. 22, 2005. She joins her husband of over 47 years, retired Navy Chief Petty Officer John Day Jr., who preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1999. Audrey was born Jan. 17, 1931 in Anacortes, WA to George Lester and Laurene Morgan. Later moving to Tacoma, she attended Lincoln High School and then graduated from Fife High School in 1949. She then went on to attend LPN school at Tacoma Vocational School, where she was a part of the first graduating class. She was a loving and caring nurse at Northwood Manor for many years. She was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Milton. She was a former member of the Lincoln Lady Lions Club. She found great joy in doing things with her family. This included bowling, camping, fishing, traveling, gardening, penny machines and the Mariners.Audrey is survived by her five children: Michael (Liz), Rick, David (Betti-Jo), Pat (Kim), Rhonda Colburn (Dale); grandchildren Hollie, Mic, Melanie, Natalie, Cassie, Garrett, Kristina, Kaylea and Jessica; great-granddaughters Lynzie, Hailee and Payton; and sister Nadine Hall.A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, Oct. 28, 2005 at Mountain View Memorial Park, followed by a memorial service at 1:30 PM at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2306 Milton Way, Milton, WA.Remembrances may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation for Research, P.O.
