Audrey L. Herforth's Obituary
Audrey Louise Herforth Let me share with you a story of a woman with such heart and personality that she had an effect on just about every person she met. A strong heart, full of life, a contagious smile, and a sparkle in her eye. Sadly, she fell ill and the body could no longer contain her powerful spirit. So, the Lord lifted Audrey's spirit on January 8, 2018, all the while, surrounded by family and friends. Normally, this is the point where we mention the family who preceded Audrey and those who are still here. In the past,she and I discussed that this would be far too long of a list. Rather than overlooking someone accidentally, please look in your heart and you will find her there, calling you by name. The thing that brought Audrey true joy was her love of animals. More specifically, her dogs. Throughout her life, she always had at least one four legged friend and six seemed to be the limit (of her own accord). Audrey's dogs were her children, her therapy, her shadows, and her pack. She was never too far from them and it was amazing how she moved about the house with her fan club in tow. I can say that they miss her just as much as her people do, and it will take some time to adjust to our loss. I was taught not to share a woman's age, but she is an angel now. Fifty years is far too short of a life for someone with Audrey's heart. If you knew Audrey, you certainly have an adventure to share.

It will be held at St Mark's Lutheran Church, 6730 N 17th St., Tacoma, WA, 98406 on Saturday, January 20th at 3:00pm.
A reception will follow at the church.
