In Loving Memory of Atupiye Atupele Anganile
“Tutu” • “Mr. Bibo”
March 14, 1999 – March 27, 2026
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Atupiye Atupele Anganile, lovingly known as “Tutu” and “Mr. Bibo,” on March 27, 2026, at the age of 27.
Born on March 14, 1999, in Malawi—fondly known as the Warm Heart of Africa—Tutu truly embodied that warmth in his everyday life. He had a vibrant spirit that could light up any room and a personality that left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Tutu was known for his courage, kindness, and joyful heart. He brought life wherever he went. Always smiling, always joking, and always finding ways to uplift those around him. Even in difficult moments, he never stopped encouraging others. He had a rare gift for making people feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.
He had a deep passion for music and dancing. Tutu could walk into a room of strangers and, within moments, have everyone smiling as he danced with pure joy. His energy was infectious, and his presence unforgettable.
Beyond his vibrant personality, Tutu enjoyed drawing, grilling, and spending quality time with family and friends. He began his education at Phoenix International School and continued at Saint Andrew’s International High School in Malawi. He later completed his high school education at Horizon School in Atlanta and went on to attend the Malawi Institute of Management.
Tutu carried a deep desire to make a difference, especially in the lives of young people. He dreamed of creating opportunities through farming and hospitality ventures in Malawi, with the hope of uplifting others and contributing to a better future for his community. His vision reflected a generous heart and a commitment to giving back.
He will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Chipiliro Anganile, and his beloved sisters, Hilda, Kuchi, and Mvikeli. He is reunited in eternal rest with his father, Gilbert Anganile. Tutu also leaves behind a large extended family and countless friends whose lives he touched in meaningful ways.
Though he is no longer with us, Tutu’s spirit lives on in every song, every dance, every shared laugh, and every act of kindness. He will always be remembered for the joy he brought into this world and the love he gave so freely.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Tutu.
Gone, but never forgotten.
