I remember enjoying wonderful summers with my niece, Aspen when she and her brothers would come South. She was the only girl in the bunch so she always made a point to let her brothers know that she was getting more because she was the only girl. She would put me in the middle and say isn't that right auntie Ida. She was always a very articulate and expressional little girl. She was always the thinker in the group. I feel bless to have gotten a chance to know god's beautiful flower before he called her home to be with him but left the love that I have for her deeply embedded in my heart. Your Auntie Ida as you always would tell everyone, lol not wanting to share, I shall miss you little one!!! Sumter SC. I remember Miss Aspen from a little girl with the beautiful dresses.. and how Grandma would come to visit and spoil you..I remember sitting on the same row @ Church with you and mom.. and how she always had a " little" switch nearby to keep you Attentive.. I remember singing in the choir with you when I came back for the Church 50th anniversary..... I am probably one of the FEW people who know you were named after Cyndi Mac's favorite Perfume. ASPEN...
