Arthur Rudolph HammerBeloved Husband and FatherArthur Rudolph Hammer, born on June 27, 1915 in Tacoma passed away on July 22, 2003. He is survived by his loving family; wife Eva; sons, Stan, Norm and Bruce; daughter-in-law, Judy; grandson, David; sister, Viola Law; and several nieces and nephews. All those who knew Art found him to be a patient, gentle, personable man with a welcoming smile. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #174 for over 50 years and a member of the Masons. He was also active in the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Indian Guides. Art lived by his lifetime motto, Â"Live and let live.Â" As a young man he was very athletic and enjoyed tennis, golf and dancing. Later he became very skilled and enjoyed working with wood. He built a summer cabin on the beach where he enjoyed his summers with his family. He loved the water and enjoyed his boat. Visitation will be on Sat. July 26, 2003 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. concluding with a graveside service at 11:30am at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
