Arthur Roland Nemeth's Obituary
Joined Army in 1938, and his service spanned three years involving him in war and two occupations. After leaving the military, as a Master Sergeant, he worked for the Civil Service retiring in 1976.
Arthur was born in Omaha Nebraska on May 28th, 1918. Art has always enjoyed fishing. Even as a young boy, he would play hooky from school to go fishing at Carter Lake in Omaha Nebraska. In later years, and for many decades, he loved to take his boat out into the Puget Sound to fish for Salmon.
His wife, the love of his life, Maudie Wyneva Clark, preceded him in death on February 15th, 2012. The two were inseparable, and were the epitome of a loving marriage. Art’s health failed after his loss, and he passed, peacefully and comfortable in his home on Saturday, August 6th, 2016.
Art and Maudie did not have any children. Left to morn are nieces, Rebecca Scott Cooper and Debora Zadina Gotsdiner, both of Des Moines, Iowa. Arthur will be laid to rest in Corydon Iowa, next to his beloved wife and among other family members. There are many that loved him, and will miss him, but many more who are now happy to see him … once again!
