Karen Lystad
I had the honor of caring for Art the last 4 years. We loved him a great deal, and many that he met expressed to us the same thing. He was gentle and caring. He loved visits from family and friends and meeting friends on the street. He loved to travel, and meet new people. He loved his Lucky Charms, and Hot Dogs, and most things sweet. I appreciate very much the caregivers at Puget Sound Health Center for their excellent care of him for the last month of his life.
He will be missed a great deal. His living children and many of their descendants will be here to honor him at a service on Dec 27th in Tacoma. Time TBA.
Although we will miss him, we are glad that he will now be able to join his wife who passed away 5 years ago, and his two boys who died in infancy. There is a great reunion taking place in heaven, and one will be taking place here as we gather together from across the country to be here.
Thanks to all who were his friends for your loving thoughts and prayers in our behalf.
